Jobs & Departments
Every film will have departments set up in a different fashion, sometimes these listed here will be rolled into one department or separated into more smaller ones. Each department will have a greater or lesser degree of autonomy dependent on the head of the departments style, the Director, Supervising Art Director and Producers preferences and that of the U.P.M (Unit Production Manager). The scale of the job and the nature of the film being made; historical drama, science fiction or contemporary and so forth.
